Being Newsworthy and Relevant - Copywriting for Business, Online and Social Media

To keep your website content current, you can put some links on your home page, for example, to archives of newsletters or links to new articles that will be of interest to your visitors. You can also have news feeds from other websites, all of them relevant to your kind of business and to your existing and potential customers. These could even include recent announcements about a new development in the technological field in which you operate. Perhaps there are new proposals, scientific studies or government reports and recommendations that might affect how your product will fare in the marketplace.

News about your own company can certainly be included of course, but make sure it’s interesting for your customers and relevant, such as details on new products, modifications to existing ones, changes in price structures or distribution and so on. Press releases singing your own praises should be kept to a minimum, unless you’ve invented something that’s going to change the world.

I have extensive experience in writing for a wide range of industries and markets. Contact me directly for details of rates and fees regarding copywriting services.
