Ticks are very small creatures that are more closely related to spiders and scorpions than they are
to insects. Ticks are found in countries all over the world and there are many
different types. Ticks are parasites that live by feeding on the blood of other
creatures. Although they are seen as pests, ticks are still important. Birds and
insects eat ticks making them an important part of the food
